How do you charge an electric car? There are three ways to charge electric vehicles, namely public charging stations, home chargers and portable charging guns. The following is the specific process of charging electric vehicles:

1. Public charging stations

a. Park the vehicle firmly in the charger parking space, shift to P and open the vehicle's charging port;

b. Unplug the charging gun from the charger and insert it into the charging port of the vehicle;

a. Park the car and open the AC charging port;

b. Insert the plug end of the charging gun into the three-hole socket, and insert the head end into the AC charging port;

c. Confirm whether the vehicle is charging normally by observing the indicator lights on the charging gun and charging port or checking the charging information on the vehicle screen.
